il Tartufo e il Vino Pop-Up

Eataly Boston Website

Truffles are a rarity, available for just a portion of the year, and whether you’re a longtime fan or a recently-introduced enthusiast, you’ll want to get to Eataly Boston’s new pop-up restaurant, il Tartufo e il Vino. Beginning on Thursday, November 8th, Executive Chef Sam De Los Santos will debut a more approachable dining experience to celebrate the culinary gold that’s only found in the wild forests of northern and central Italy.

At the no-frills osteria, you can pick out your own truffle to top onto any dish — and watch the action with a table-side shaving of the Italian jewel — or opt for a prix fixe menu to avoiding making any decisions. However you choose to treat your taste buds, you can pair your plates with a selection of Piedmont-sourced wines. Make a point to get to the pop-up before January, and stop by sooner rather than later because once truffle season ends, the pop-up does too. Find more details here.
