Packing is officially no longer the worst part of traveling. The Loews Boston Hotel is welcoming weary travelers by rolling out The Bellhop Bar at Precinct Kitchen + Bar. Inside an old steamer trunk—the bookcase-sized kind once used on months-long ocean voyages—you’ll find an assortment of packaged goods perfect for ending your day’s journey, including red and sparkling wine and two pre-batched cocktails that can be shaken, stirred, and poured at the snap of your fingers (note: don’t snap at people). The Mayflower is a sophisticated sour using Hangar 1 Vodka, Yellow Chartreuse, lemon, and Creme de Violette, and the Midnight Ride will warm you up with Angel’s Envy bourbon, a poblano-orange syrup, mole bitters, and sparkling mineral water. The bar will be open from 5:00-7:00pm nightly, just follow the sound of the bell.
