Fairsted Kitchen to Become Grassona’s Italian

Fairsted Kitchen

Washington Square’s Fairsted Kitchen will be closing up shop after dinner service on New Year’s Eve, reopening as Grassona’s Italian. Since opening in 2013, the Brookline restaurant became known for its cozy dining room, Victorian-era décor and whimsical drink program. According to a post on the restaurant website, Grassona’s Italian will soon take up residence, serving classic Italian comfort fare “in the same great space from the same great people.” In the meantime, there’ll be plenty of chances to pay your respects – stayed tuned for information about a Jack’s Abby farewell dinner, details about their New Year’s Eve festivities and the skinny on guest appearances from former Fairsted peeps. You can always pop in for dinner; call 617.396.8752 for a reservation. And sign up for updates on Grassona’s Italian as it starts to take shape.
