Posto Facebook

Local restaurants are getting into the Italian American spirit of the holiday season with Feast of the Seven Fishes menus. Typically held on Christmas Eve, the feasts feature seven different types of seafood and are meant to bring good fortune to those who partake.

A few folks are pulling the trigger a bit early. Chef-owner Delio Susi at Sulmona is offering a special, fish-heavy a la carte menu every evening through December 24th. Bar Mezzana is celebrating everybody’s favorite fishy holiday tradition on Sunday, December 17th. And Island Creek Oyster Bar in Burlington is hosting a special version on Tuesday, December 19th with five courses, seven fishes, and a signed copy of chef Barton Seaver’s new book, American Seafood.
