A Taste of Japan at the MFA

MFA Facebook

Inspired by a new exhibit from artist Takashi Murakami, four dining venues at the Museum of Fine Arts (MFA) will be offering a taste of contemporary Japan through March 2018. During your next visit, start with a cocktail at the New American Café, perhaps enjoying a Tokyo Mule, made of sake and ginger beer, a Lychee Bellini or a Ginger Mango Green Tea Mocktail (delicious for drinkers and non-drinkers alike).

Stay there for an à la carte menu of Japanese-inspired street food like beef yakatori skewers and chicken tsukune steamed buns, or head to Bravo restaurant for finer dining with rotating ramen and sashimi specials. Sweet tooth seekers will find Japanese candies & confections in the Taste Café — make sure you save room for a matcha green tea Kit Kat bar — and mochi ice cream specials in the Garden Cafeteria.
