Eventide is Open in Fenway

Eventide

Portland’s beloved and perpetually-packed Eventide has officially opened their Boston outpost. One step inside and you’ll think you’ve gone under the sea with ocean blue walls, marine decor and a serious-looking rock formation embedded into the counter (insider’s tip: it’s a chunk of Maine granite aptly nicknamed “The Rock”) that holds the oyster selection.

The self-described “fine-casual” restaurant will soon become your new go-to for Fenway dining, whether you’re grabbing a quick lunch mid-day during work or heading to the ballpark (there’s always next year). You can place your order, then take a seat and wait for a text message when your food is ready. Chef de Cuisine Ian Maschal (you might recognize him from stints at Bar Mezzana and Menton) serves up the spot’s iconic brown butter lobster roll, chilled small plates like tuna crudo and a sampling of distinctive New England desserts including homemade oatmeal cream pies. Try the spot for yourself the next time you’re in Fenway, and call 617.545.1060 with any questions.
