It’s a brave new world of brunch at Viale in Cambridge, where chef-owner Greg Reeves is bucking trends (or starting them, as the case may be) adding an array of hand-made pasta dishes to his midday weekend menu. Satisfy your sweet tooth with the chocolate fettuccine (with peanut butter, coconut, and puffed rice) or keep things savory with a duck egg carbonara (bucatini, pancetta, poached egg)—there’s something to satisfy everyone’s late-morning appetite here. And for the uninitiated, there are still plenty of non-pasta options, like a classic eggs benny, a burger, and of course plenty of brunchy beverages to wash it all down.
