Happy Birthday, Mr. President

JFK Library

Chef Jim Solomon pays homage to JFK as the president’s 100th birthday approaches. Through May (Kennedy’s birthday falls on the 29th), The Fireplace will add Kennedy family recipes and JFK favorites like Irish potato cakes and lobster stew to the menu, while the bar will be serving presidential cocktails like an Irish Mimosa with poitin, honey lavender, OJ and sparkling wine (see the full menu below). Additionally, Solomon’s personal collection of JFK memorabilia will be on display at Brookline Town Hall for viewing. Call 617.975.1900 for brunch, lunch or dinner reservations at the restaurant and head to Brookline to commemorate the late president in the town of his birth.
