Far From the Tree Cider

What happens when the food and beverage brains of Island Creek, The Hawthorne and Far From the Tree Cider put their heads together? HUSK Cider, a collaborative libation, coming to Row 34 on Sunday, March 26th. Oyster dude CJ Husk of Island Creek supplied the apples from his family’s Hollis, NH farm – an heirloom blend of 50% Roxbury Russet with Baldwin, Northern Spy and Espous Spitzenburg apples. The Hawthorne’s Jackson Cannon and the Far From the Tree team joined in the effort to produce the naturally fermented, totally unfiltered cider, made with Champagne yeast and a touch of maple syrup. 16-ounce cans will be at Row 34 for $7 each until they run out.
