Put your hands together for Publico Street Bistro & Garden, opening in South Boston on Tuesday, February 28th. Co-owners Jairo Dominguez, Teodora Bakardzhieva and Theo Bougas bring their shared concept to the ground floor of the 11 on the Dot apartment complex with chef Keenan Langlois handling all things culinary. Langlois (formerly of The Sinclair and the Aquitaine Group) has put together a menu of comfort food snacks, pizzettas and big plates that pulls influences from Europe and South American. Dishes like sourdough buns, grilled beets, fried snapper and more can be enjoyed alongside a beverage list of cocktails, wines, aperitifs and craft beers managed by Bakardzhieva (the first female bartender at Locke Ober.) Beside the dining room and 26-seat bar, guests can settle in at the open air atrium, with fire pits, TVs and an additional bar. Dinner service will run Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 5:00-10:00pm and then Thursday through Saturday until 11:00pm. Head in to welcome the opening team.
