Michael Schlow at Eataly

Mangia, northern Italian style at chef Michael Schlow’s Eataly pop-up. A temporary two-month concept, Via Emilia, will overtake La Cucina, the market’s spot for rotating culinary collaborations. Dedicated to the region of Emilia-Romagna, Schlow’s project will serve up classic Italian plates like eggplant Parmigiana, tagliatelle alla Bolognese and a warmed flatbread known as tigelle with ricotta-whipped lardo. In addition, the chef will teach a class on the regional culinary traditions of Emilia-Romagna at La Scuola di Eataly. Via Emilia opens to the public on Wednesday, February 1st—swing by to see what Schlow has in store.
