Go under the sea this Restaurant Week (without shelling out too much) and dine on scallops. Boston restaurants are putting fresh spins on the saltwater delicacy. You can find the meaty mollusks on menus pan-seared, broiled or raw; paired with spicy tomatoes, crab & cucumber, parmesan broth or chipotle puree. The 12 days of dining deals only come around twice a year so take your opportunity to be shellfish.

Bacco – Seafood Puttanesca with scallops, jumbo shrimp, lobster meat, olives, capers, linguini and spicy San Marzano tomatoes

Fuji – Spicy broiled scallops with crab, tobiko, and cucumber

Kitchen – Pan-seared scallops with cauliflower and arugula

Park – Scallop ceviche with compressed cucumber, lime and heart on fire greens

Trattoria il Panino – Chopped scallop risotto with asparagus, sweet corn, and parmesan broth
