Restaurant Week Boston makes it easy to be green this season with a plethora of meat-free options on the menus. Local chefs have put together their prix fixe offerings so that a fully vegetarian meal is deliciously possible for veggie-loving diners. The dishes cover a range of cuisines, from Tremont 647’s adobo-marinated tofu tacos to Viale’s bucatini with porcini crema. Commonwealth serves up a stuffed roasted eggplant with red quinoa and wild rice while Bistro du Midi plates beetroot gnocchi with pecorino and pine nuts. Henrietta’s Table joins the garden party with native vegetable chili and cheddar & scallion empanadas, served with piquant jalapeno oil. Click through to get to the meat—well, vegetable—of the matter, and look for the green pepper icon that signals vegetarian-friendly menus.
