Pop-up queen and former cheftestant Stephanie Cmar steps in as executive chef at Fairsted Kitchen. The Massachusetts native sharpened her culinary skills at B&G Oysters, Stir and No. 9 Park with chef Barbara Lynch before competing on seasons 10 (almost) and 11 of Top Chef. She’s most recently been busy as the Stacked Donuts side of the sweet pop-up Party of Two. Cmar takes over the stoves at Fairsted from chef Jason Albus, who’s moved on to open The Frogmore with Fairsted owners Andrew Foster and Steve Bowman. Diners can look forward to a new menu featuring Cmar’s creative take on French, Italian and Middle Eastern cuisine (and maybe some guest appearances from her pop-up partner Trademark Tarts.)
