You may not think of winter as the most bountiful of culinary seasons, but the kitchen of Asana at The Mandarin Oriental will convince you otherwise. Asana’s culinary team has created a tantalizing five course winter tasting menu, highlighting ingredients that are in their prime during the dead of winter in dishes like yellowtail crudo and Ameraucana hen eggs with wild mushrooms, polenta and prosciutto, and a pan roasted rib-eye with oxtail, potatoes, Swiss chard and shallots. The Winter Tasting Menu is available for $90 per person ($115 with wine pairings) in addition to Asana’s a la carte menu.
