Hood Hits the Road

The Hood Cream Food Truck is making the rounds this summer as part of their Chefs Creations Series. Throughout August, Jeff Landry of The Farmer’s Table (Portland), Ben Lloyd of Tazza Caffe (Providence) and Chris Coombs of Boston Chops, Deuxave and dbar (Boston) will be making appearances all over Maine, Rhode Island and Massachusetts, offering samples of their own delicious Hood cream-based recipes like blueberry lemon semifreddo, crab bisque with tarragon corn coulis and crème caramel with peaches. And, if all these delicious chefly recipes have you feeling inspired, amateur cooks can try their hand at creating their own as part of the Chefs Creations Recipe Contest. All you’ve got to do is whip up something special using one of the five approved Hood Cream products, submit the recipe online and you’ll be eligible to win $2,500 and have your recipe featured on the Hood Cream package.
