The latest restaurant from Tryst’s Paul Turano, Cook, opens in Newton on Saturday, September 14th. The sister restaurant to the Arlington neighborhood favorite will feature an eighty-seat dining room and a menu that boasts comforting snacks (like caramel bacon popcorn), wood-fired flatbreads, and fun variations on the classics (like Vietnamese glazed pork ribs with pickled carrots). Thirsty patrons will appreciate the from-scratch cocktail program and extensive wine and beer selections both bottled and on tap (yes, some wine will be on tap too). Dinner service starts tomorrow at 4:30pm and continues seven days a week. Brunch and lunch are also slated to come soon (September 21st and October 1st, respectively).
