So Long 606 Congress

606 Congress, which opened at the Boston Renaissance Hotel back in 2008 under the guidance of consulting chef Michael Schlow and the execution of chef Toby T. Hill, will be closed as of Saturday, August 24th. Chef Rich Garcia, who’s been at the helm since 2010 will be staying on at the hotel to oversee all manner of culinary operations (room service, eats at Capiz Lounge and, of course, banquets and functions) while the 606 space will be turned into MC Medici Ristorante and Bar from award-winning Maine duo Mark Gaier and Clark Frasier of Arrows in Ogunquit and Top Chef Masters fame. Peruse the 606 pictures on BostonChefs.com for a final time before they disappear.
