Soft Shell Crab Fest

For the eighth year in a row, The Metropolitan Club forsakes its meaty focus for a thirty-day-long Soft Shell Crab Festival. From Tuesday, May 14th through Wednesday, June 12th, the talented kitchen team at both the Chestnut Hill and Back Bay locations of the popular steakhouse will be giving the Chesapeake-bred crustacean the royal treatment with a special preparation for every day of the week. Depending on the day you drop in, there might be hoisin bbq crab burgers, soft shell crab po’ boys, or New England-style crab rolls on the menu. For purists, there’ll be classic preparations – pan-seared, fried or meuniére style – available nighty and, of course, the regular menu.
