Area Restaurants Shine at Taste of the Back Bay

The do-gooders of the Back Bay come together to highlight the neighborhood’s fabulous eateries at the seventeenth annual Taste of the Back Bay. On Thursday, March 29th take the elevator fifty floors up to the Prudential Skywalk to try bites from area spots like Asana, Bistro du Midi, Brasserie Jo, City Table, Eastern Standard, Forum, Island Creek Oyster Bar, L’Espalier, Lucca Back Bay, Market by Jean Georges, Sel de la Terre, Summer Shack, Top of the Hub and Via Matta, among plenty of others. The sampling (not to mention the musical entertainment and the general merry-making) starts at 6:30pm and costs $85 per person ($75 for members of the Neighborhood Association of the Back Bay). A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Haley House, a Boston-based nonprofit that uses food to build new skills and bring communities together. Tickets, and all the details, are available online. Reserve yours before the lights go out (again) in the Back Bay.
