Waiting for the Frost at Kitchen

The fresh-obsessed folks at Kitchen are determined to make good use of autumn’s bounty before the cold sets in for good. Throughout October, the Scott Herritt restaurant will feature their Waiting for the Frost prix fixe menu, a four-course tasting menu filled with squash, pumpkins, beets, carrots and Brussels sprouts from neighboring Siena Farms South End market. The meal, which features pumpkin soup, beet and goat cheese ravioli, cocoa and coffee crusted venison and carrot cake with rum raisin sauce, costs $60 per person, though each item is available a la carte as well.
