Dawn of a New Era at East Coast Grill

It’s official. Like, really set in stone official. After twenty-five years, chef-owner Chris Schlesinger has sold the East Coast Grill to his longtime employees chef Jason Heard, Robin Greenspan and James Lozano. While things will mostly stay the same at the endlessly popular Inman Square eatery where they’re known for local seafood, southern bbq, a lively atmosphere and their recurring Hell Nights, the trio of owners will be opening for Saturday lunch as of April 28th (11:30am to 2:00pm). Expect some East Coast Grill classics as well as a few newbies that show off Heard’s Floridian sensibilities (he worked in the Keys for fourteen years).
