Changes on State Street

Get your final fix of Sel de la Terre Long Wharf. The Provencal brasserie’s flagship location will be closing sometime towards the end of April. According to the Boston Herald, chef and budding restaurateur Bill Brodsky, most notably of Twenty-Eight Atlantic at the Wequassett Resort and Golf Club in Harwich, made McClelland an offer he couldn’t refuse. Brodsky is said to be planning to open a restaurant called City Landing in the almost-waterfront spot. McClelland is already onto his next project – he’s just about ready to start construction on La Brasa in Somerville, a joint venture with chef Daniel Bojorquez, currently the chef at Sel de la Terre Natick. Check back for more details. In the meantime, enjoy the original Sel de la Terre while you can. Call 617.720.1300 for reservations.
