Generally, news that a big clean up is in store is not cause for celebration. However, wine lovers will want to take note of Troquet‘s summer tidying. Beginning this week and continuing through to the end of August, the Theater District stalwart will be unearthing bin ends, single bottles found in the depths of their cellar for guests to enjoy with their dinner – at heavily discounted prices. There are a couple of rules – you have to enjoy your long lost wine with something tasty from chef Scott Hebert‘s dinner menu and the bottles will be sold on a first come, first serve basis – so no reserving. New bottles will be brought up daily so make sure you reserve a table by calling 617.695.9463 asap, and often.
