Lamb lovers flocked to the Charles Hotel on Sunday February 20th for the second annual Lamb Jam, sponsored by Boston Chefs and the American Lamb Board. The sold-out, meat-filled event, emceed by TV Diner’s Billy Costa, featured dishes from seventeen chefs competing in four cut categories (leg, loin, shoulder and shank) for the top prize – a trip to NYC and a spot at the Lamb Jam NYC Cook-off against winners from Seattle, DC and San Francisco. Who took the title(s) this year? Chef Brian Reyelt of Citizen (leg), Jason Santos of Gargoyles on the Square (loin and Best in Show), Will Gilson of Garden at the Cellar (shoulder) and Jim Solomon of The Fireplace (shank). Cassie Piuma of Oleana was named fan favorite. Check out some photos from the event on the BostonChefs Facebook page – and feel free to post some of your own. Kudos to all the winners and thanks to everyone who attended!
