Remick’s Coming Soon to Quincy

Chef Marc Orfaly (of Pigalle and Marco) has set his sights on some new digs south of the city. Working with Quincy native Timothy Collins and partner Bob Palmer, Orfaly is opening Remick’s at 1657 Hancock Street in Quincy. Named after the landmark department store in downtown Quincy, the contemporary American tavern will serve a menu with classic American fare (fried chicken, flatbread pizzas, burgers and chicken soup) a wide array of culturally-integrated dishes (shrimp pad Thai, pasta pomodoro, Korean-style short rib, pork osso buco and clam ceviche). Designed to be the quintessential neighborhood eatery, the restaurant will be refined yet comfortable with a large dining room, lively bar and lounge, and, on Sunday nights, a family-style menu designed for sharing. There’s even a stage for live music. Expected to be up and running by the end of the month, Remick’s will be open daily from 4:00pm-12:15am and Sundays from 3:00pm-12:15am. Check back for more information as the opening draws near.
