A Cow, A Chicken and a Pig Walk Into a Bar…

It started out innocently enough but when you get three creative, talented cookers together a certain amount of tomfoolery is apt to ensue. If you were keeping an eye on Twitter and Facebook last night, you might have seen chefs Jamie Bissonnette of Coppa and Toro, Will Gilson of Garden at the Cellar and Louis DiBiccari of Sel de la Terre Back Bay make their way on a bit of a bar crawl. What’s so interesting about that, you ask? Well, nothing…at first. It all looks like a perfectly normal night out – shots of Fernet at The Citizen Pub, burgers at Tasty Burger, a bean bag pig pile and then pig, chicken and cow costumes. Yeah. The trio took a time-out for a wardrobe change and spent the rest of the evening – which, as far as we can tell, included a stop at Deuxave – dressed as a cow (DiBiccari), a pig (Gilson) and a chicken (Bissonnette). Take a peek through some of the photos – and feel free to send us yours if you saw these guys out and about last night. We have a few questions but mostly we’re wondering: how did these three all end up with the same night off?

Thanks to chef Chris Coombs, The Citizen and Tasty Burger for posting the photographic evidence on Facebook.
