It seems like nowadays, there’s an app for everything, not that there’s anything wrong with that. In their quest to make pairing good wine with good food that much easier, the folks at Aura at the Seaport Hotel are working an iPad into the dining experience. Here’s how it works: at both lunch and dinner, guests will be presented with an iPad that features Wine Pass, an app that includes the restaurant’s complete wine list (that’s 21 wines by the glass and 135 wines by the bottle). After deciding what delectable dish they are going to eat off of chef Rachel Klein‘s menu, diners can peruse pictures of the bottles on the iPad and learn about which wines pair best with which foods.
