Belly up to the bar at Vox Populi where chef Ryan Murphy has just unveiled two new menus – tailor made for tough economic times. Full of snack-sized goodness like Kobe meatballs tossed in a Szechuan glaze; and fried cornmeal encrusted oysters with a Cajun aioli, the Small Plates Menu is available everyday from 4:00-6:00pm and then again from 10:30pm-12:00am from Thursday through Saturday. Priced at $2 each or $5 for three, the plates are perfect for an after work bite or a late night nibble. Murphy has also just unveiled his Neighborhood Menu, a three-course prix fixe menu for only $25 ($40 with optional wine pairings). You don’t have to be a Back Bay resident to enjoy French onion soup with aged Swiss cheese or oven-roasted chicken over a lemon and rosemary orzo salad with haricot vert bundles and a cabernet reduction.
