Highland Kitchen’s Fried & Frozen Mondays

In preparation for the dog days of summer, Highland Kitchen brings back its popular Fried & Frozen Mondays. Swing by the super popular Somerville eatery on an upcoming Monday after 5:00pm to sip on slushy concoctions from resident bartender Joe McGuirk – he’ll be blending away behind the bar (whipping up frozen margaritas, blackberry daiquiris, Periodistas, Negronis, Irish coffees and Fernet slushies). On the other side of the swinging door, chef Mark Romano will be cooking up trans fat-free fried goodness like buttermilk fried chicken, chicken fried steak, fried green tomatoes, fried oysters and fried pickles.
