33 & STIX Welcome New Pastry Chef

33 Restaurant & Lounge and sister restaurant STIX welcome a new pastry chef to their ranks – Malinda DeChristopher joins the extended family, overseeing pastry operations at both restaurants. The New England Culinary School graduate, who grew up watching the inner workings of her aunt and uncle’s Swedish bakery, took her first kitchen job at the age of fifteen. After trying on plenty of culinary hats – front-of-the and back, she found her niche amongst the flour, chocolate and sugar. DeChristopher will be working alongside chef Peter Eco, who oversees the savory sections of the menus at both restaurants. Drop by either Stanhope Street spot to try her desserts.
