Check Out Chocolee from Pastry Chef Lee Napoli

To go along with its bevy of bistros, boutiques and bakeries, the South End now boasts its very own artisanal chocolate shop, Chocolee. Proprietress and self-taught pastry pro Lee Napoli, whose work you’ve seen on the dessert menus of restaurants like Icarus, Grill 23 & Bar, Bricco and Sandrine’s, opened her truffle emporium in mid-February. Napoli’s truffle menu has five signature flavors – espresso, hazelnut, chocolate mint, Grand Marnier and poblano chile, though she’ll also be rolling out seasonal filled chocolates like honey-bourbon-cherry, salted caramels enrobed in dark chocolate, and chocolate in bulk.
