Chef Eric Brennan makes the most of the last few weeks of summer with his End of the Summer Tasting Menu at Excelsior. Book your table from Saturday, August 18th through Sunday, September 2nd and enjoy as much of the season’s best produce as can be packed into three courses. Brennan will be serving Nesenkeag Farm heirloom tomato salad with fresh mozzarella, pickled red onion, basil, pesto and aged balsamic; and Maine lobster with chorizo, mussels, fingerling potatoes, green beans and “liquid corn on the cob”. The prix fixe, which costs $49 per person, wraps up with blackberry and raspberry shortcake made with locally grown berries and brown butter custard.
