Chef Jody Adams focuses on the flavors of Trentino-Alto Adige on the November Hungry Sundays menu at Rialto. Guests who opt for the Hungry Sunday menu can choose two small plates from among options like bacon and salami studded bread dumpling with parsley; polenta with walnuts, pine nuts, chestnuts, asiago and pear; and smoked salmon with beets. The focal point of the menu is roasted char with mushroom and barley stew with pancetta, celery root and cream. Pastry chef Tal Shofman-Schejter has dessert well in hand – apple strudel with dried cherries in grappa and sweetened whipped cream. Rialto’s Hungry Sunday menu is a steal at $45 per person, so call Rialto at 617.661.5050 to make reservations. Keep an eye out for more information about upcoming Hungry Sunday themes.
