Come September, chef Anthony Caturano, of Prezza fame, heads to City Square in Charlestown to open Copia in the space most recently occupied by Paul Delios’ Meze Estiatorio. Named for the Roman goddess of wealth and abundance, the new restaurant will serve Caturano’s appropriately overflowing dishes reminiscent of the ones that have made Prezza so popular – expect primarily Italian (with heavy use of staples like olive oil, rosemary, peppers, wine and oregano) as well as the occasional nod to its Greek predecessor (whole fish grilled in olives and oil). Look for more information about the opening, which is expected soon after Labor Day or duck into Prezza for a taste of what’s to come.
