On Sunday nights during the month of March, chef Jeffrey Fournier of The Metropolitan Club in Chestnut Hill invites guests to join him for Sunday Suppers, themed family-style dinners designed to get folks together over large platters of Fournier’s classic comfort foods. March is Texas month and Fournier will be doing his best rendition of Texas burnt ends chili with melted cheese and raw sliced jalapeno; and Texas Salad consisting of green leaf lettuce, bacon, queso sierra, fried green tomatoes, Met dressing and onion rings. Entrée options will include a choice of smoked dry rub chicken or grilled flank steak each served with guajillo pepper sauce, sweet potato fries, corn bread and slaw. Top it all off with sundaes for dessert. Family Nights at the Metropolitan Club cost $30 per adult and $20 for children.
