Chef Jacky Robert, of Maison Robert fame, recently celebrated the successful opening of his Petit Robert Bistro, on the “left bank” of Kenmore Square. The intimate, two-tiered eatery opened its doors on April 1st and is currently serving lunch, brunch and dinner. The restaurant features a menu of classic bistro recipes like onion soup gratinée escargots bourguignon, croque monsieur, assorted house-made pates, and rabbit moutarde with julienned leeks as well as a lower level pastry bar where pastry chef Kristen Lawson offers a dozen plated desserts daily. In true bistro tradition, entree prices are under $15 at lunch and under $20 at dinner. So drop by for a glass of wine and a bite to eat – weather permitting, try to snag one of the ten seats on the charming outdoor patio or take a peek at the Petit Robert website for more information.
