Local Chefs Get Creative During the DNC

Whether you’re coming to town specifically for the Democratic National Convention or a semi-trapped local, there are plenty of culinary treats to be taken advantage of during the DNC. Bostonians and visitors alike can head to Rialto in Harvard Square for Jody Adams’ late night DNC menu. Available until 1:00am, the menu features the first-ever Rialto Burger stuffed with a knob of garlic on a homemade brioche bun with oven-dried tomatoes, grilled onions and Bibb lettuce and served with perfect French fries, fried onions and pickled mushrooms. Hungry DNC attendees can also opt for the Liberty Lobster Club, Revolution Salad or the Red White & Basil Salad. Reservations can be made by calling 617.661.5050. Pastry chef Nicole Coady puts a Democratic spin on one of Finale Desserterie & Bakery signature desserts. During the week of the DNC the Molten Chocolate Cake will feature a dark cocoa donkey tuille, which will sit atop the baked-to-order cake. Call either Finale location (Park Sq. 617.423.3184 or Harvard Sq. 617.441.9797) for reservations and more information.
