Exceeding Expectations at Excelsior

Since its summer 2003 opening, Excelsior, the much anticipated successor to the Back Bay’s beloved Biba, has taken the Boston dining scene by storm. Teaming up with the American Food Management team (the ones responsible for Grill 23 & Bar and Harvest), chef Lydia Shire is back and in top form. Her contemporary American cuisine displays her trademark vision and complete lack of fear or pretense, as well as her fabulous sense of fun.
