Having sold their first restaurant, Aspasia, earlier this year, Chef Christos Tsardounis and his wife and wine director Kathleen Malloy, have successfully carved out another lovely niche for themselves at Ariadne in Newton. Malloy’s influence is clear, not only on the wine list, but in Ariadne’s plush, peacock feather patterned banquettes in the bar/lounge area and the welcoming dining room. Tsardounis’ Mediterranean touch in the kitchen comes through in signature dishes like the rack of lamb with ossobucco and the bronzini. Take a look at this dynamic duo’s most recent endeavors.
