There’s a little bit of bayou in Inman Square this month. Chef John Silberman has started Bayou & Game Festival at Magnolias. Apps like alligator fritters atop a creamy spinach and onion dipping sauce and barbecued wild boar slathered with a South Carolina mustard barbecue sauce will be on the festival menu from October 22nd through November 22nd. Entrees like the roasted rack of venison encrusted with goat cheese, garlic and sage, served over dried cranberry-cabernet sauce; and blackened ostrich steak topped with homemade Worcestershire sauce & crispy onion rings carry the theme through dinner.
