Somebody needs to credit Salamander with bringing the ‘night’ back into Boston nightlife. At the new Trinity Place location of the restaurant, now serving lunch and dinner daily, the swanky Satay Bar serves it up until 1:00am for grownups who stay out after 11:00. We waited the whole year of 2000 for this grand reopening of one of Boston’s most exciting restaurants. Luckily, time does fly. We recently found ourselves in the brand new kitchen with Stan Frankenthaler and his new pastry chef, Tim Macklin, shooting seven new photos that are either an introduction to a new restaurant or postcards from an old friend.
