Weston Provisions – Kitchen Lead

We are Weston Provisions; a small but mighty cheese & charcuterie shop with a strong sandwich menu, recently opened in Weston, MA. We opened to an enthusiastic & welcoming community with some very positive feedback, and we are already busier than ever! We are currently seeking someone to help us lead our kitchen & culinary operations.

We are seeking someone skilled in prepping [receiving & breaking down produce & proteins, preparing sauces & marinades, cooking in batches, etc.] & who respects the products they work with. We offer an ingredient/quality-driven environment that is low-stress and collaborative. We foster a culture of inclusivity, diversity, and creativity.

Our Kitchen Lead employs mindful, cooking techniques, knows and understands best practice for ordering & inventory, is well versed in kitchen safety & compliance, and who considers her or himself a genuine team-player.

This position offers a path to creativity and an opportunity to engage with owners and leadership on future menu development & menu additions.

We offer attractive hours; our shop is open 8am – 5pm Tuesday – Friday, and 8am – 4pm on Saturdays, with Sundays & Mondays off!

If you are an experienced chef who’s exhausted with typical shifts and kitchen intensity or an aspiring chef with solid experience and ambition to learn how to hone your craft and run a kitchen from the top, we’d love to hear from you.
