Waypoint is looking for a Wine Director/ FOH Manager to help lead their team. Located just outside of Harvard Square, Waypoint reflects a forward-thinking approach to coastally-inspired fare. An ideal management candidate will have a genuine love for food, beverage and the industry along with the ability to share that enthusiasm with those around them, guests and staff alike. Strong leadership, organization and communication are key components of the position along with an ability to multi task. General experience should include managing a large and varied staff, training and educational development and a decent understanding of all office related programs or the willingness to quickly learn any that you are unfamiliar with. The most important aspect of the job will be floor management of a bustling restaurant which requires a keen attention to detail and dining room flow. Specific requirements of this position would require weekly staff education, list curation, attending trade tastings as a company representative, inventory and ordering.
