vicki lee’s bakery, cafe, catering company has an immediate opening for a FT pastry chef. Their ideal candidate would have at least 3 years of experience in a scratch kitchen / bakery and will have been in a lead managerial position for at least 1 year.
Must be able to follow their tested recipes, as well as be creative to develop new products seasonally. Their business has grown tremendously over the years and they have become a go to destination for all things food and pastry. They have a growing catering business, they do corporate catering and their restaurant is open 7 days a week serving breakfast, lunch and brunch. They have a retail following selling cakes, pastries, coffee and prepared foods. Seeking someone who can multi task, give direction, encourage others, be a production wizard and super organized. Great opportunity for someone looking to transition to days only. This position is Tuesday – Saturday roughly 7-5 with some flexibility. They welcome good references, If your old employers loved you, they probably will too!
