The Wauwinet Inn’s award winning restaurant, TOPPER’S, located on Nantucket Island, is now accepting applications for the seasonal position of Sous Chef. This position will start in April and continue through October and will be responsible for all aspects of Kitchen Management, demanding the utmost in creativity on a daily basis.
Other important aspects of this position include the ability to:
- Maintain approved food costs and labor costs
- Maintain positive guest relations at all times
- Be aware of all Hotel services/features
- Lead a large team of culinary professionals
Applicants should also work well under pressure, possess excellent communication skills, be organized, flexible, self-motivated, and have a great sense of humor.
Requirements include a minimum of 2 years in a similar position. A culinary degree is preferred.
