The Wauwinet Inn‘s award winning restaurant, TOPPER’S, located on Nantucket Island, is seeking a seasonal Sous Chef. This position starts immediately and runs through October and will be responsible for all aspects of Kitchen Management, demanding the utmost in creativity on a daily basis.
Other important aspects of this position include the ability to:
*Maintain approved food costs and labor costs
*Maintain positive guest relations at all times
*Be aware of all Hotel services/features
*Lead a large team of culinary professionals
Applicants should also work well under pressure, possess excellent communication skills, be organized, flexible, self-motivated, and have a great sense of humor.
Requirements include a minimum of 3 years in a similar position. A culinary degree is preferred.
