Thomson Golf Club in North Reading, MA is seeking a FT/PT Line Cook for immediate hire. Our grille room has a casual dining atmosphere and is open 6 days a week 11:30am-8pm, Tuesday-Sunday. Looking for a responsible, energetic individual with a friendly personality to help facilitate all members’ dining needs as well as golf outings throughout the season. Pay range is $22-$26 per hour, commensurate with experience. Complimentary golf privileges are also included. Other responsibilities involve, but are not limited to the following:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Setting up & execution of food line
- Confers with chef’s on daily production & specials
- Prepping food for line (according to specified portions)
- Keeping work area clean & organized
- Prepares & plates for service efficiently & to specifications
- Breakdown of line at end of service
- Any additional tasks assigned by management
- Consistently uses safe and sanitary food handling practices
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed
- • Must be Servsafe certified
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
- Ability to walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to stoop, squat, bend or reach
