The Salty Pig is seeking a Service Manager to join their front of house management team. The Salty Pig is a busy lunch and dinner restaurant focusing on house made pizza, pasta, and charcuterie with a beverage program that features craft beers, old world wines by small producers, and a small curated cocktail program.
The Service Manager’s role is responsible for the training and development of The Salty Pig service, bar and support staff. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to: hiring, training, scheduling, liaising with the Chefs, beverage inventory/purchasing, etc. The Service Manager also focuses on curating and developing the beverage program at The Salty Pig in conjunction with the Operations Director.
Ideal candidates will have a strong desire to lead, and an innate curiosity. Applicants should embrace a food & beverage culture rooted in education and integrity. They should be passionate about all aspects of hospitality and possess great organizational skills. A minimum of one year of prior management experience is required.
