The Rudder, an iconic restaurant and bar since the 1950s, is seeking a full-time Line Cook. Located in the Rocky Neck neighborhood of Gloucester, The Rudder has a decidedly neighborhood vibe that is warm and inviting. The restaurant also invites guests to visit us by boat and dine with us right on the water. Combining the fine food and attentive hospitality of Chef Barbara Lynch, The Rudder offers a rotating menu highlighting Gloucester’s local seafood.
This is an opportunity to work for a well- renowned restaurant collective that encourages internal growth and promotes from within; you will hone your skills with a management team working directly under Chef Barbara. Applicants should possess a strong desire to further their careers and demonstrate good leadership skills.
Candidates should share a passion for ingredients, technique, discipline and hospitality. This position is full-time with competitive pay, group health and dental insurance, life insurance, and paid time off. You must be available weekdays and weekends to be eligible for this position.
